An added advantage is the\u00a0engine protection against knock\/pinging and detonation. A high oxygen content is a design function of Elf racing fuels. The results are increased combustion speed and efficiency, resulting in more power and torque.<\/p>\n<p>Unlike Australian &#8220;Pump&#8221; fuels,\u00a0Elf\u00a0fuel does not\u00a0contain\u00a0traces of benzine or sulphur. The quality of Elf products is a key factor in the success of the World&#8217;s top Karters.\u00a0Ongoing research, state-of-the-art technology, and completely reliable products are the main ingredients for the Elf fuels and lubricants used in kart racing all over the world.<\/p>\n<p>If you are unhappy with the quality and consistency of pump fuel, Elf BFK-07 is the answer, with no benzene, no sulphur and a higher MON rating. Elf BFK-07 is a much cleaner and faster burning fuel than what is available from the pump. If your driver\u2019s health is important to you, note that Elf BFK-07 is a \u201cgreen\u201d low emission fuel.<\/p>\n<h3>BFK-07 vs Pump Fuel<\/h3>\n<p>Elf BFK-07 is more expensive than Pump Fuel &#8211; this is due to the\u00a0fact that Elf\u00a0BFK-07 is an imported product which is especially produced for racing.<\/p>\n<p>On average, a kart will require 20 litres of fuel per race weekend.
